Artwork Fees
Diagraph is dedicated to providing our customers with quality service. We do our best to offer a good value and accommodate your needs in a timely fashion. Our In-House Art Department is part of this continuing effort. It allows us to offer you direct communication for your label needs, better quality control and faster turnaround at a fraction of industry standard pricing.
The following information is designed to help explain some of the categories and levels of charges for having your artwork processed by Diagraph. This is a general description and there are many factors which could affect your pricing.
All artwork, electronic or otherwise, must be sent in to our Labeling Sales Specialists for a quotation of charges. If you are unsure of anything pertaining to this process or need any other assistance, please give us a call at 1-800-695-0036.
Included At No Charge To You
- Computer preparation under 1 hour
- Your first set of color inkjet proofs on each label with a Pantone color chip attached to show actual ink color
- Simple revisions are made at no charge and you will be provided a new color inkjet proof
- Standard UPS ground shipping of your proofs is included
Under 1 Hour Computer Prep - Artwork charges for this level are $0.00
Artwork which would fall into this category may include:
- Customer provided electronic files (with simple modifications or changes included)
- Camera ready hardcopy artwork (with simple color separations included)
- Simple design creations such as blocks of color or stripes
Under 2 Hours Computer Prep - Artwork charges for this level are $75.00
Artwork which would fall into this category may include:
- Customer provided electronic files with extreme modifications or changes
- Hardcopy artwork with extreme cleanup or difficult color separations
- Label recreation from an existing sample
Over 2 Hours Computer Prep - Artwork charges for this level are custom quoted by our Labeling Sales Specialists.
Artwork which would fall into this category may include:
- Label design and creation from an idea or rough sketch.
Barcodes - Barcode charges will be $25.00 per code needed.
- When your job requires a barcode, we will order it to your specifications and scan it for accuracy.
Plate Charges - Plate charges are a flat rate of $100.00 per plate, and for each the following is included.
- Files will have appropriate traps added for optimum flexo press printing.
- Files will be stepped up for the necessary number of images needed to print.
- Film will be output electronically.
- As plates wear, they will be remade to ensure printability at no additional cost to you.
